Ibn Mas'oad RadiyAllahu `anhu  narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said, "Whoever reads one letter of the Book of Allah is credited with one blessing and one blessing is equal to tenfold the like thereof in its reward. I do not say that الم (Alif Lam Meem) is one letter, but '(ا  )' (Alif) is one letter, ' ( ل )’ (Lam) is one letter, and '( م )' (Meem) is one letter." (Tirmidhi)
Ibn Umar RadiyAllahu 'anhu reported that the messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said "The example of the companion of the Qur'an is that of an owner of a tied camel: if he is vigilant over it , he will hold onto his camel; if he releases it, it will go away." (Buhkaree, Muslim)

Qur'an Courses information:

  • Reciting the Qur'an with Tajweed: 
This entails reading/ reciting to the teacher from the beginning, using the Qur'an and begin taught the basic tajweed rules. This will be via a system, where both the student and the teacher can hear each other and communcat effectively.

  • Memorisation of the Qur'an with Tajweed:
The teacher will aid students with their memorisation and assist them to cement them in their memories, along with the implementing the correct tajweed. The basic tajweed rules will be taught along side memorising.

  • Tajweed (tarteel):
Tajweed will be taught from the book Tohfat alatfaal تُحفَة الأطفال with the teacher, learning many rules that are implemented to enable a student to recite in the way that the Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa salam.

  • Reciting the entire Qur'an:
this is for students who has already memorised the entire Qur'an and have not recited upon a teacher. This is for those who aim is to receive an ijaza .

Abdullah ibn Amr RadiyAllahu `anhu re­ports that Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said: "On the Day of Judgment, it will be said to the Man devoted to the Qur'an, 'Go on reciting the Qur'an and continue ascending the stories of Paradise and recite in the slow manner as you had been reading in worldly life; your final place will be where you reach at the time of the last ayat of your recitation." (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud)
